About the street

Boulevard de Suisse climbs above Monte-Carlo through what was a street of villas: the Villa Girasole of 1889, the cliff-edge Villa des Gaumates, the Villa Roqueville – now the headquarters of the Monaco Red Cross. At no. 19, the Villa Soleil gave way in 1970 to Le Schuylkill, a 78-metre tower now being rebuilt by Zaha Hadid Architects.
