About the street
Avenue Princesse-Alice is named after Alice Heine, second wife of Prince Albert I. It runs from the Hôtel de Paris – at no. 2, opened in 1864 – up through the Carré d'Or, with Dior, Balenciaga, Berluti, Bottega Veneta, Chopard and Montblanc, and Taera's Venezuelan cooking.
