The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort opened in 2005 on a peninsula of the Larvotto, the Société des Bains de Mer's resort on the eastern edge of Monaco: ten floors and 334 rooms over the sea, an indoor-outdoor pool that runs along a two-hectare garden to a sand-bottomed lagoon at the tip of the promontory. Marcel Ravin's two-star Blue Bay is its gastronomic table, with L'Orange Verte, and the hotel switched to solar energy in 2018.
