About the street
The Place du Palais, once the Place d'Armes of the Rock, opens in front of the Prince's Palace on the western side of Monaco-Ville. Every day at 11.55 the Compagnie des Carabiniers du Prince changes the guard here – during the Covid pandemic it moved inside the Palace for a few weeks and returned to the square on 19 June 2020.
