About the street
Avenue de Grande-Bretagne was once the Avenue des Fleurs, renamed for the British colony whose church, St Paul's, was begun here in 1923. Belle Époque villas such as the Villa Belgica and the Riviera Palace stand alongside the Floralies of 1977, which replaced the three villas Constantine.
