The Hôtel Métropole was built in 1889 to designs by the Danish architect Hans-Georg Tersling, at 4 Avenue de la Madone. Rebuilt and reopened as Le Metropole Palace in 1988, it closed again in 2003 for a full renovation and reopened in July 2004 as the Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo; Jacques Garcia's interiors and the most recent works, completed in April 2021, set its look today. It holds the two-star Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac and the Japanese restaurant Yoshi, and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
