About the street
The Place de la Visitation takes its name from the convent of the Visitation, built in 1665–75 at the wish of Princess Catherine-Charlotte de Gramont; its buildings now hold the Lycée Albert-Ier at no. 1 and the chapel-museum, and the National Council, Monaco's parliament, faces them.
