Rue Bel Respiro, some 650 metres above Monte-Carlo, was lined with neo-classical and Belle Époque villas – La Malmaison, the Villa Victoria, the Villa Petrouchka, which is on the State's list of remarkable buildings – several of which were replaced by apartment blocks between 2011 and 2019.
