The Princess Grace Rose Garden was created in Fontvieille in 1984 in memory of Grace Kelly, and re-dedicated in 2014. Some 4,000 roses grow around a statue of the princess by Kees Verkade; the municipal garden, next to Fontvieille Park, is open daily from dawn to dusk.
