The house
Cheval Blanc St-Tropez sits on the Plage de la Bouillabaisse, just west of the village.
It opened in 1936 as La Résidence de la Pinède and, after a renovation with the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, reopened under its present name in 2019.
Its gastronomic restaurant is La Vague d'Or; many of its rooms and suites hold ceramics by Roger Capron.
The house was made a Palace by Atout France in October 2019.
